Many thanks to all the current students who took part in the annual
dissertation conference - 17-19th July 2017.
The dissertation topics ranged from the circular economy and industrial symbiosis, transport, urban infrastructure, resource management, water, energy, renewable energy and international development. The best presentation prize was won by Emma for her work on urban resillience in post disaster recovery - a case study on the 2015 Nepal Earthquake. Nathan won the best poster prize, judged by Ryan from the library, for his poster on household waste flow anaylsis in the UK context.
The annual dinner was held at Gonville and Caius College and welcomed back special guests who had supported the MPhil this year and 32 alumni. The alumni included 1 from the very first year of the MPhil in 2002, 12 from last year and 10 from 2011-12 who were celebrating 5 years since they completed the course.
