The ESD MPhil students had a successful fieldtrip looking at alternative technolgies in Mid Wales. They visited the Severn Trent Water anaerobic digestion plant Coleshill, Rheidol Wind Farm, Centre for Alternative Technology, Rhiedol Hydro and Ironbridge Biomass Power station. They met entrepreneurs from Surechill (Cooling technology) and Dulas (solar, biomass, wind and hydro technoloiges ) and John Williamson Architect of Canolfan Hyydgen (UK's first accredited Passivhaus+ BREEAM excellent.)
