Outer Core Modules

The second term allows a choice from an outer core of modules which deals broadly with key engineering dimensions of sustainability ranging from infrastructure, design principles production and green engineering, international development and economics and regulation. You can tailor your individual programme to meet your own personal needs.  Whether you are wanting to work in the developing world, or for government, or within the engineering profession you will also find a range of courses on offer that are designed to provide the breadth you will need to develop sustainable engineering solutions in the future.  The structure of the course will allow you to explore the relevance of sustainable development to engineering practice from a number of different perspectives including the study of technical innovations and the management of the engineering process.
