CSD researchers host China Academy for Urban Planning and Design

At the end of October 2018 Professor Dick Fenner and Dr Leon Kapetas received a joint delegation from Imperial College, London and senior engineers and the Director from the China Academy for Urban Planning and Design. Dick and Leon introduced their work on using stormwater as a resource and their development of adaptation pathways designed to determine the best mix of grey and blue-green infrastructure for flood management, specifically for a case study location in Sutton, South London. The group spent the afternoon visiting the water management features and stormwater recycling scheme at the North West Cambridge development in Eddington.
