MPhil in Engineering for Sustainable Development

global challenges, engineering solutions

Two new lecturers have been appointed to support the delivery of the ESD MPhil programme.

They are Dr Kristen MacAskill, a former alumni of the MPhil, who has developed new concepts around infrastructure resilience in post disaster recovery contexts, and Dr André Cabrera Serrenho who works on the identification of opportunities for energy and material demand reduction in industrial systems and the link between material stocks and well-being. We are looking forward to starting in their new roles in early 2020 and contributing to the programme from Lent Term onwards.
