MPhil in Engineering for Sustainable Development

global challenges, engineering solutions

Congratulations Garrett - Boak Student Support Fund

Garrett Bray, ESD MPhil 16-17, has won support from the Boak Student Support Fund at Clare Hall College.

Garrett will use the award to support his ESD MPhil dissertation research into electric and automnomous vehicles. He will conduct interviews with industry experts in Silicon Valley to test and refine bottom-up economic models for a system of shared, autonomous, electric cars. The work will be further informed with observations of driverless car technology in development and deployed in public.

The Boak Student Support Fund provides support for students of Clare Hall to pursue outstanding research and educational opportunities. For more information see: https://www.clarehall.cam.ac.uk/funding-current-students
